Order of Posts

Is there a way to have new posts appear at the top of a forum? I find it annoying to have to scroll through all previous posts to get to a new post. Anybody else feel this way? Thanks.

Yes, on the left part of the screen, just below the threads is a sort button. Unless you are referring to inside of the specific threads.

Also, on the right, at the top of the homepage is a link to show all posts since last visit

Yes, I am referring to the order of posts inside a thread. That is what is annoying, to have to scroll through every reply already read to get to the new one.

Thanks, but that does not solve the problem. Using 'View posts since last visit' just opens the thread with the old posts at the top and new post(s) at the bottom requiring repeated scrolling.

I don’t think there’s any way to do what you want to do. In Vbulletin, yes you can do it, but I don’t see any way to do I in PHBB. I even researched it on the Fourmotion user forum, but couldn’t find anything

It doesn't change the order, but if you "Watch" a forum and have emails turned on, when you recieve an email alert about a new reply, the link in the email will jump right to the new post.

On the far right the "Last Post" shows a user name with an icon to right of the user.
Hit the icon and it jumps to the last post in that thread.
