It’s been very quiet on this hew forum. Let’s start discussing some of
The ways we use our BYT devices not forgetting the original P25 RX
Scanners that Todd developed for us.

I've had my P25RX going 24/7 for basically 3 1/2 years with very limited interruptions logging and recording my state's phase 2 system.

My 1st gen P25RX with Wio Term display has been mounted in my truck for about 2 years on the road. Still going strong.

I picked up a used Nano last month. I have been playing with some of the open source code to try and create some custom screens....just need to find more free time :)

I’m running a P25RX on Delaware county Ind and State Safe-T systems. Works well. I also have a Nano running on the Grant county system, also working well. I have a couple of custom firmwares for the WIO that remotes the top buttons and joystick to the back GPIO interface. But I don’t know if I can share them since I didn’t create them. I was working on installing the Nano into a Bearcat III case. Got put on hold until summer is over.

Edit: I have permission to post the custom WIO firmware, so I will do that if there’s any interest in them

I have 3 p25rxII installed in fire house alerting systems.. They love them because they are set and forget unlike the old uniden scanners that allowed fingers to adjust.. They work great on the county's phase 1 LSM system and the statewide P2 system.

I think I have at least one of everything that had Todd developed.
My favorite is the P25RX-2 using the tree software. It works
Great and gives a lot of options in its use.
    We miss you Todd!
